Job Summary

The Shipping, Receiving and Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for ownership of shipping, receiving and warehouse processes.  They will direct the activities of other warehouse personnel to ensure the required work is completed properly.  Responsible for Carterra’s inventory levels including labeling, organization and assuring inventory levels are accurate.  The coordinator is responsible for ensuring that materials and processes related to the receipt of materials and shipping of products are completed in a timely and accurate fashion.


  • Train and provide direction to those assisting in a variety of shipping/receiving and warehouse activities.
  • Owns and drives improvements of relevant shipping/receiving and warehouse processes.
  • Manages receiving function, including incoming receipt, processing, and storage of goods.
  • Executes shipping portion of supplier return process.
  • Coordinates the movement of goods between warehouses; Service, CEC, and production partners in particular.
  • Fulfills and ships Sales Orders to customers, both domestically and internationally.
  • Handles all appropriate documentation for the shipment of Dangerous Goods throughout the world.
  • Works with Logistics providers regarding any shipment issues.
  • Sets up and follows freight shipments.
  • Reviews key volume and performance metrics of small package logistics provider.
  • Monitors warehouse levels and proactively identifies the need for more space, opportunities for consolidation and recommendations for new layouts.
  • Properly executes inventory movement through Kanban and FIFO principles.
  • Performs weekly cycle counts, including reconciliation where needed.
  • Owns key inventory performance metrics; cycle count accuracy, inventory transaction accuracy, etc.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • 2-5 years’ experience in an ISO manufacturing environment
  • Able to work independently and within a team.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience using inventory management systems such as Acumatica or SAP.
  • Experience using FedEx and UPS shipping.
  • Experience with international shipment documentations including Bills of Lading and Commercial Invoices.
  • Self-starter, action oriented with eyes toward continuous improvement.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Able to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, standing, and twisting in performance of tasks.
