Certified EDC Preparation Guidelines

1. Allow vial to come to room temperature
2. Add 13.1ml of cold 18 Megaohm water to the vial and gently invert several times
3. Prepare 150μL aliquots in microtubes and immediately store at -20^oC or -80^oC

Final recommended EDC concentrations for surface activation:

1. Single Flow Cell Activation: 75 mM EDC, 33 mM S-NHS in 100 mM MES pH 5.5
2. Multichannel Activation: 15 mM EDC, 5 mM S-NHS in 100 mM MES pH 5.5

Note: Prepare 900μL aliquots for multichannel activation
