Introduction

Carterra Vega, a new 48-channel high-throughput surface plasmon resonance (HT-SPR) platform, supports the highly anticipated many-on-two assay format. The many-on-two approach allows full kinetic analysis of up to 48 analytes in parallel over two distinct ligands (Figure 1). This format is particularly advantageous for screening large numbers of analytes, such as small-molecule or biological libraries, against a target and a counter-target. It is also well-suited for ligands that are difficult to regenerate or that lose activity rapidly, as it enables the collection of 48 kinetic data points simultaneously.
